Queen Mary Hospital

A panoramic view of Queen Mary Hospital, Hanmer Springs, where men with shell shock and other psychiatric conditions were treated. The dining room is in the foreground, with octagonal sleeping wards on either side. The hospital was situated alongside thermal springs and looked out on a peaceful valley and mountains.
