Public service commissioner compiles casualty list

A copy of circular 1915/19 from Paul Verschaffelt, the secretary to the public service commissioner, to permanent heads of departments – in this case, the head of State Fire Insurance – asking that they advise his office of any casualties among their staff. Information received in response to this circular was published in the roll of honour in the Public Service Official Circular from June 1915.
